◆ Take a nostalgic steam locomotive "SL Moka"♪
A non-electrified line, Maoka-do, connecting Motegi Station in Tochigi Prefecture to Shimokan Station in Ibaraki Prefecture.
In 1990, 20 years after the end of the SL operation, the Maoka City-led SL Revival Project was born.
The brilliantly restored "C12 form" started operation as the "SL Moka" issue in 1994.
It now operates on Saturdays and Sundays for the whole year, and you can see the male appearance of SL similar to that of active duty.

★★★Introduction of steam locomotive C1266★★★
SL C1266 active as a towplane for Oka.
It was built in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1933 as the number 66 of the C12 type steam locomotive built during the former Japanese National Railways period.
Active in Kagoshima, Kamaishi, Hirosaki and Kamisuwa, among other places, the total mileage reached 1.72 million km before being abandoned in 1972.
The aircraft, which put an end to its long active life of about 40 years, was quietly on display in a corner of the foot of the river housing complex in the town of Kawamata, Fukushima Prefecture.
In 1991, it was transferred to the Haga District Wide Area Administrative Affairs Union, which aims to revive the SL, and in 1993, Koku Kōki Kōki.
It was named "Kawamata-go" and has been towing SL Mooka on the Maoka-do Maoka Line since 1994.

◆ Tour the SL Museum, where retro vehicles will be exhibited♪
"SL Keurokukan", a base facility that makes use of the charm of the city of Maoka called "SL's running town".
Many vehicles are on display, including the 9600-type SL and the D51-type SL, which are the only vehicles in Japan that are self-propelled by compressed air, and the passenger carriage Suhaf 4425.
The name of the facility is derived from the typical Taishō period steam locomotive type 9600, which is displayed in the museum.
The Maoka station building, which is a certified station for "Kanto no Station Hyakenyo", has the appearance of the SL, and the SL Kürokkan also has the appearance of the SL, forming a characteristic space.
